can provide a list of pesticides, who can apply pesticides, 
and how to become a “Certified Pesticide Applicator”.

The Office of Pesticide Services regulates:

  • The licensing of businesses that would recommend for use, mix or apply pesticides to the sites in question.

  • Proper certification of commercial applicators, registered technicians and/or private applicators.

  • Registration of pesticides for manufacture, distribution, sale, storage or use.

  • The use of any pesticide or container to ensure the use is consistent with the label directions. 


Subdividing a pesticide and providing the product to others is a violation of federal laws and regulations pertaining to the sale and distribution of pesticides.
